The Vampire Diaries is a supernatural drama television series developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, based on the book series of the same name written by L. J. Smith. The series premiered on The CW on September 10, 2009. The series takes place in Mystic Falls, Virginia, a fictional small town haunted by supernatural beings. The series narrative follows the protagonist Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) as she falls in love with vampire Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) and is drawn into the supernatural world as a result. As the series progresses, Elena finds herself drawn to Stefan's brother Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) resulting in a love triangle. As the narrative develops in the course of the series, the focal point shifts on the mysterious past of the town involving Elena's malevolent doppelgänger Katerina Petrova and the family of Original Vampires, all of which have an evil agenda of their own.

The actor revealed his happy news while speaking to Too Fab at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend.


The Teen Wolf star told toofab at Comic-Con about his engagement July 18, saying: “I love being home. I have a fiancée now. We live together. We have dogs now and it’s absolutely great — I love it.”

The couple has been together since Tyler was 11! If that’s not the most adorable thing we’ve ever heard, we don’t know what is. He opened up to Us Weekly in June about his lady love and how he knew she was the one:

[I knew] since I was 11. I couldn’t really put it into words when I was that young but I always had this really strong connection to her and it’s just been something I can’t really explain other than I want to marry you and be with you forever. You just know. You definitely just know and I know.
While we are still pining for a Scott/Allison reunion, we are over the moon about Tyler’s engagement! Tyler and Seana are so cute together. Congrats!

Robert Pattinson is getting his fitness on!

The hunky 27-year-old Twilight star was spotted hitting the gym over the weekend ahead of his upcoming movie Mission: Blacklist.

R.Pattz was dressed all in black, including sneakers, socks, shorts, hoodie and sunglasses, while arriving to workout. According to X17, Pattinson is following a strict fitness regimen to get into shape for Mission: Blacklist, in which he'll play a young military interrogator who helps lead the mission to capture Saddam Hussein.

The Maroon 5 front man proposed to Namibia-born Behati, 24, over the weekend, shortly after they reconciled following a split at the beginning of the year.

Prinsloo is from Namibia and models for Victoria's Secret. Levine also is a judge on the NBC singing series "The Voice."

The Grammy Award-winning Maroon 5 last year released its fourth album, "Overexposed." It features the hits "Payphone," "One More Night," "Daylight" and "Love Somebody."
